About Us
A natural unique location in Rantoul, IL
Families, friends and solo campers have been making memories at our Rantoul campground since 2010. Located on 21 acres travelers can enjoy plenty of fresh air, beautiful trees, open spaces for nature walking or biking, sunset viewing and stargazing. Sites include water, sewer and electrical hookups. A newly renovated clubhouse with spacious bathrooms and showers, laundry access, and a hangout space with a cozy fireplace make for an exciting visit to the Prairie Pines Campground. Here, you can relax with the sounds of nature all around you or head into Rantoul to visit the water park, golf course, sports complex center, and a variety of restaurants.

Wood & Ice
What's a camping trip without fire wood and a cold beverage? You'll never have to wonder, since we've got plenty of fire wood and ice available for purchase here at Prairie Pines Campground. We hope having this amenity turns out to be one of many things that makes your trip easy to enjoy.
Length of Visit
Our sites are available for daily, weekly, monthly and seasonal visits. The mature trees provide lots of shade and lighted roads and sidewalks make it great for kids and pets. So, bring the whole family and enjoy this peaceful spot!
Club House & Golf Carts
We want your trip to be as relaxed and fun as possible and providing you with a newly renovated clubhouse is part of that. Bathrooms, showers, laundry and a hang out space are included in the clubhouse space helping make your camping trip be the best it can be! If needing an easy way to get around golf carts are available for rent as well.
